What your score means

Your score is the share of your last 30 long-form videos that survived the scroll: the ones a viewer would have stopped for. It's not a grade on you or on your content. A great video can still sit behind packaging that gets scrolled past, and that's exactly what the score is built to catch.

How each video is judged

Every video starts with real numbers: its views compared to your channel's usual.

Videos doing 2x your usual or more survived. The audience already voted.

Videos older than a month with half your usual views or less got scrolled past.

Everything else has to earn it on packaging. The thumbnail and the title are graded separately against the best packaging on YouTube in your niche, not against your own channel, and only solid packaging survives. Videos under a month old are never marked as flops by views, because YouTube is often still picking them up.

The bands

  • YouTube god: 85 to 100
  • Unskippable: 65 to 84
  • Actually clickable: 50 to 64
  • Mid: 30 to 49
  • Scroll fodder: 18 to 29
  • Straight slop: 0 to 17

Strong channels usually land above 60. Anything above 85 means almost every upload pulled its weight.

What Repackaged gives you

Your three weakest videos get a new title, a new thumbnail idea, or both, depending on what's actually holding each one back. If the title is strong and the thumbnail is weak, only the thumbnail changes. If both look fine, the problem is probably the topic, so you get a new angle instead.

Old videos can come back. A new title or thumbnail on a video YouTube still shows people is one of the cheapest wins on the platform. Nobody can predict a winner with certainty, so every suggestion is something to test, not a guarantee.

What this doesn't measure

It only sees what's public: thumbnails, titles, view counts and upload dates. It can't see your click-through rate, impressions, retention or revenue. It skips Shorts and livestreams. It doesn't judge the video itself, only whether the packaging earned the click. And it reads your last 30 videos, so a strong month and a weak month can give the same channel different scores.

Roast someone else

Any public channel works. Paste a handle or a channel link. Every result gets its own link you can send, and the share image carries the score on its own.

Fix what the roast found

Most low scores come down to one pattern repeated: thumbnails that say what the title already says, ideas that need explaining, or a format the audience has seen a hundred times. Fix the pattern once and every video after it gets better. When you're ready to test the fix on real traffic, Feedzy runs thumbnail and title tests inside the same workspace where your team makes the video.
